Project Canada
About Us
Next to the personal immigration service, Project Canada also places international students with Canadian host families, in schools and assists them with obtaining their student visa. Students are able to develop their English language skills in a comfortable environment. You are only going to be gone for up to one school year, but the experience will be life changing. It is something most people will never do, something you will never forget. You will return with more knowledge, cultural understanding, and life long friends.
A sincere desire to embrace the “one world” philosophy, insights into other cultures, and the ability to provide a loving home as well as room and board are the prerequisites to being a host family. Project Canada offers semester programs as well as school year programs.
Tatjana Sharkey is the owner of Project Canada and is also a former exchange student.
Tatjana first came to Canada in 1997. She only came for three months before returning to Germany to graduate, but she loved her experience in Canada so much that she returned after graduation for the 1998/1999 school year and graduated in Canada as well.
Tatjana found what she learned during her time as an exchange student has made her a stronger person. She has made it a personal goal to help as many foreign students as possible to come to Canada and experience what she has experienced, as well as help people seeking to immigrate to this beautiful country.
